To provide financial infrastructure services, virtual accounts, and payouts, we collect:

  • Identity & KYC Information: Full name, Email, Phone number, BVN (Bank Verification Number), NIN, and Business CAC registration.
  • Financial Data: Bank account numbers, payout history, settlement details, and transaction logs.
  • Technical Telemetry: IP address, device browser type, API request timestamps, and security logs for fraud prevention.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process personal data strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

  • Processing virtual account creation and automated payout settlements.
  • Complying with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and NFIU Anti-Money Laundering (AML/CFT) regulations.
  • Detecting and preventing fraudulent transactions, unauthorized account access, and cyber attacks.

4. Partner Disclosures & Third-Party Sharing

PayTaara acts as a technology infrastructure provider. We share necessary KYC and transaction payload data with our CBN-licensed partner banks (e.g. Wema Bank PLC, Providus Bank) and regulated settlement partners solely to facilitate financial transfers.

5. Your Data Rights

Under NDPA 2023, you have the right to request access to your stored personal data, request correction of inaccurate records, or request deletion (subject to statutory financial record retention periods required by CBN law).
